Staci Chimes
Founder of Le Jardin Noir, Staci is the heart behind the studio. She specializes in blackwork and fine line tattoos, with a deep love for florals, animals, female portraits, and geometric designs. Her style blends soft detail with high contrast, often weaving in elements of illustrative realism to create pieces that feel both personal and powerful. Staci created this space to be welcoming, inclusive, and full of creative energy—just like her work.
Andrés Ponce
Andres is the newest resident artist at Le Jardin Noir—and a true master of the craft. Andrés has been tattooing for 8 years. He started in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico, and has been tattooing in Canada for almost three years now. Andrés really enjoys working with blackwork, combining illustration with a touch of realism and movement. He’s especially drawn to organic elements, animals, and insects, and I like to mix them with objects like chains.
Andrés is very into the darker side, such as skeletons and skulls and enjoys creating unique, custom pieces for each client, and working with the ideas they bring to the table!
Laura Corbett
Laura has been with Le Jardin Noir since day one, and with over 8 years of experience, she brings serious skill and color magic to the studio. She’s all about bright, bold statement pieces—specializing in neo-traditional and anime-inspired tattoos that pop with personality. Known as our go-to color gal, Lauras work is playful, powerful, and packed with style.

Cory is one of our resident junior artists and mother to our studio plants! Cory works primarily in black and grey with a special interest in fine or bold illustrative work inspired by flora and fauna or anything in the realms of dark, spooky, or mythical. Combine these elements? Even better! She also loves doing ornamental work as well as heavy abstract blackwork.
Elise Angelucci
Elise is a junior artist at Le Jardin Noir—and easily the funniest one in the bunch. Her style leans into illustrative realism, and she’s always excited to take on a wide range of subjects. She especially loves soft color palettes as well as black and grey, lady faces, animals, florals, and a little bit of geometric flair. With a laid-back energy and a great sense of humor, Elise brings both skill and good vibes to every appointment. Elise does walk in Wednesdays every Wednesday from 12-4!
Tye Caldwell
Tye is a junior artist at Le Jardin Noir with a love for all things dark, bold, and a little nerdy. His work leans heavily into blackwork, with a passion for spooky, medieval, and dark art-inspired designs—think skulls, grim figures, and high-contrast magic. With strong lines and a killer eye for detail, Tye’s tattoos are made to stand out and tell a story
Ngaire (Ny-Ree) Howe
Ngaire is currently apprenticing under Staci and is making beautiful strides in her tattoo journey. With a background in Visual Arts from VIU, her style naturally leans towards anything gothic and spooky. While she currently focuses on black and grey work, she will soon be expanding into colour as well. When she's not in the studio, you can find her at home with her rabbits!
